The Michigan Achieving a Better Life Experience (MiABLE) 529(A) savings account program is administered by the Michigan Department of Treasury and offers investment and tax incentives for families and others who wish to save for individuals with disabilities.
In addition to the qualifying educational expenses of a standard 529 savings account, funds from a MiABLE account are not taxed if used for qualifying disability-related expenses, including housing, transportation, employment training and support, assistive technology, personal support services, and more.
The MiABLE savings account program is an excellent way for participants to maintain independence and quality of life. If you have questions about this savings opportunity, visit miABLE.org, call 844.656.7225, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
MiABLE’s Customer Service Representatives are available Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.
