Service Center Representative, Full-Time

The primary purpose of this position is to assist TBACU to live out its mission, “To serve our community and build trusted relationships.” A key component of this service is to identify members’ needs and provide appropriate TBACU product solutions which ultimately helps grow the credit union. To adequately and effectively serve members and TBACU’s staff by providing prompt and accurate financial data and maintaining financial security. Provide excellent member service experiences through digital communication channels. Perform duties effectively and accurately in accordance with the Credit Union’s service standards. Promote all products and services. Responsible for resolving member questions and meeting critical deadlines for all work. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in promotions and assist members with product and service enrollment.
  • Educate and respond to member inquiries, including fraud-related concerns.
  • Handle account services such as opening CDs/IRAs, processing mail, and researching deposits.
  • Support digital services including video assistance, e-signatures, and online account follow-up.
  • Manage IRA/HSA transactions, insurance claims, and resolve member concerns.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Demonstrates professionalism, service excellence, and calm under pressure
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Communicates clearly across video, phone, and digital channels
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft 365, especially Excel, with strong typing and problem-solving skills
  • Works well independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Digital Experience Representative, Full-Time

The primary purpose of this position is to assist TBACU to live out its mission, “To serve our community and build trusted relationships.” A key component of this service is to identify members’ needs and provide appropriate TBACU product solutions which ultimately helps grow the credit union. To adequately and effectively serve members and TBACU’s staff by providing prompt and accurate financial data and maintaining financial security. Provide excellent member service and assist members virtually with ITM transactions and digital communication channels. Effectively communicating with internal and external members in accordance with the credit union’s service standards and promoting credit union products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with members virtually, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Enhance member experiences by assisting with ITM transactions and digital communications.
  • Become proficient in various e-services and digital platforms.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Self-Motivated Learner: Eager to learn new technologies and applications.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating and utilizing various digital platforms and software.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Ability to assess difficult situations and remain composed.
  • Detail-Oriented: Accurate and thorough, with the ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service is preferred.

Member Experience Representative, Bilingual, Spanish-Preferred, Full-Time

The primary purpose of this position is to assist TBACU to live out its mission, “To serve our community and build trusted relationships.” A key component of this service is to identify members’ needs and provide appropriate TBACU product solutions which ultimately helps grow the credit union. To adequately and effectively serve members and TBACU’s staff by providing prompt and accurate financial data and maintaining financial security.

Education and Experience 

  • High school graduate or equivalent, required.
  • One year customer service experience, required.
  • Working knowledge of e-services including online banking and bill pay programs, preferred.
  • Sound understanding of math applications.
  • Possess excellent listening, clear verbal and professional written communication skills and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite/ o365 Suite.
  • Advanced ability and experience with using Excel
  • Strong typing (Includes: 10 keys) and basic technology problem solving skills.

Volunteering in the Community

Serving our community is a part of the mission at TBA Credit Union. In 2024, our staff volunteered 2,591.35 hours. Each full-time employee is provided a paid volunteer day to work with the organization of their choice and give back.
