During every quarter in 2026, we will partner with an organization that makes a real impact—because together, we can make a difference.
To open your Membership Savings Account and become a member, all you need is a minimum deposit of $5.

During January, February & March 2026, your membership supports: Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency (NMCAA)
Since 1974, NMCAA has worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between poverty and self-sufficiency across 10 counties. Their mission: Foster positive change by providing opportunities that promote self-sufficiency, improving quality of life and building stronger, more connected communities.
NMCAA provides essential programs like:
- Child and Family Development (Head Start)
- Financial Workshops and Counseling
- Housing Support
- Food Distribution (including Meals on Wheels)
Your decision to join TBACU helps NMCAA continue this vital work. We’ll donate $10 directly to NMCAA—turning your simple choice into meaningful impact for families in our community.
How It Works
- Become a Member (YOU JOIN) – It only takes a few minutes! Stop by a branch, schedule an appointment for in-person, phone, or video, or use this link to apply online.
- No Lifetime Membership Fee (WE GIVE) –There is no membership fee to join TBACU. Instead, TBACU will make a donation directly to the nonprofit we’re supporting this quarter. All you need is a minimum deposit of $5 into a TBACU Members Savings Account.
- Nonprofit Selection – Each quarter, our team members vote on a local nonprofit to receive these donations.
